I fixed the spelling errors in this one and corrected to the new name, but there's little else I can do to save it apart from changing the character entirely.

Helios watched the pair meet and felt some of his apprehension wain. Rave's acknowledgment was appreciated and his respect was a decent olive branch, but he did not like people playing with his toys. He wandered over to one of the windows and peered down, his superhuman hearing picking up the sound of a group trying to move silently- and failing due to lack of experience. He smirked at the silly mortals and strode over to Rave and Nove with confidence, the humans sliding around him like water and most of them blushing madly as is aura took over their minds.
He interrupted with a polite cough, knowing that no more than that would be needed. He bowed formally, his good breeding and wealthy childhood getting the better of him, then straightened to take both of them in with ageless eyes. The fact that Nove greeted him with a hint of boredom was disappointing. When the young model did not attempt to introduce him, the disappointment became irritation. His eyes reddened until Nove offered him a warmer smile than the porcelain mask he wore around town.
"Ah, Helios," said Nove, placidly. He was too good an actor for that to be a mistake. It was meant as an insult. "I didn't think you'd be coming tonight. Rave," he turned to the shoeless man. "This is Helios, he's-"
"A friend," Helios cut in, simply to make sure his point was clear.
"-A talent agent," Nove stated, speaking over him with a tone the immortal took note of. "I do need to speak with you later, please ask Silas about that business we discussed last week."
Helios frowned. Last week, Nove had told him to go die and called the police on him. He met Nove's gaze, but the centuries he'd walked the earth had taught him patience. "I'll do that, it's just that I was enjoying the view when I noticed quite a few of your guests were making their way to that building," he pointed and hoped Nove would understand the alibi he had just destroyed. "I thought they'd gotten lost, but they were here moments before- speaking with you. Now, you'll have to excuse me. The buffet table beckons."
With that said he stepped back and faded into the crowd below.

Nove watched the man with an uninterested gaze and benign smile.
"What an entertaining person," he commented blandly, trying to toss the vampire's statement away. "Next he'll tell us that milk is going bad somewhere."
Silas, who arrived late, was more than a little nervous. Both Rave and the other man seemed to know about the upcoming murder and they weren't being subtle. His eyes flashed to Nove, begging for instructions like a puppy at the dinner table. The look back he received implied pity.

Rave raised an eyebrow as the vampire slowly approached them, then raised the other eyebrow at his statement. Then he heard it. Rion, his heart rate rising as he became anxious and his breathing quickening ever so slightly. Nove seemed not to notice but to Rave, it's like a siren. When he looked back at Nove, he's let his eyebrow fall, and the grin on his face can only be described as predatory.
"Oooh, that's dirty..." he said under his breath. The next second, Rave had a polite smile upon his features and reflected the model's benign mask.
"You keep some interesting company," he said. "I was told as much, and that you had a part in many interesting factions. Care to discuss?"

Nove had to resist the urge to look across the street to see if his team of idiots was doing what it was told. He'd figured Helios's game out and suspected that Rave knew something was going on but decided to stay the course for the time being. People like Rave tended to view him as stupid. They couldn't match his looked or personality, so they assumed they were stronger or smarter or both. He was willing to let them think that.
"I really like people," he lied with an easy smile and a shrug. "I get to talk to so many and learn about their passions and skills, but there did not seem to be many opportunities for everyone to network. People have either time, money, or passion- and never all three in equal quantities. So, I arrange gatherings of people who enjoy a higher class of clique and want to move forward on changing the world," he explained rhythmically. Just a club. A network. Nothing more... "Silas has the information-" he stopped as he noticed Silas standing there with pure terror etched across his face.
He looked to be about to have a meltdown. Nove's blue eyes blinked slowly to hide any flashes or signals of power being used, and the metal circuit breakers flicked off. The building was plunged into darkness.
Noe grabbed Silas. "Get it together," he hissed lowly.
Silas snapped from his daze and remembered his role. He was the older adult. "Not to worry," he assured the rest of the room. "Sir, it might be time to speak to the maintenance crew about the power outage, seeing as this floor is probably using the majority of that power tonight."
"Yeah," Noe replied bashfully. "I may have gotten carried away with the decor." He turned to Rave. "If you'll excuse me for one moment." He then apologized to the room and hurried to the door with two members of his security team following. They would be in charge of creating an alibi and lying.

Helios grinned, finally seeing wheels starting to turn. The lack of light was no problem for him and he moved through the humans like a wraith, ignoring the smells each person gave off in their more frightened state. He wasn't new enough to simply feast when he was hungry anymore. The smell of fear came from Silas in an irresistible wave, and Helios could not help but play with his favorite toy's favorite ally. He slid behind Silas silently, his hands moving ever so slowly to the back of the mortal's neck. With a light touch, he gave Silas a second's notice that someone was there before whispering "They all know. Every single one. And you're the scapegoat," and slipping away from the man.
He had lost sight of Nove during this little bit of fun and berated himself for the moment of weakness spoiling the chance for even greater entertainment. He located their host quickly with his vampiric senses but was lagging behind and would have to hurry to catch up. The model was no match for vampiric speed, but his ability to lock or unlock doors without breaking stride gave him an advantage.

Rave smiled politely at the boy model the entire time he talked to him. That, of course, didn't last long. As soon as the lights went out, Rave looked at Nove with question in his eyes, not for Nove, but about him. The sudden lack of light had been intentional, though the boy did not radiate with energy. He had not cut the power with a burst of electricity, so how had he done it?
He smirked at Silas pretended to be in charge and issue advice, and Nove escaped the apartment. Rave just shrugged as Silas suddenly bolted like a frantic mess. Rave moved through the sea of bodies like a wisp of smoke, able to sense a persons body heat just as well as see them. It was a sort of infravision if a name had to be attached to it.
A dragons sense of smell wasn't the best out there, but it was definitely on par with wolves. He used this amazing bit of his own anatomy to find his way back to the snack bar. The tiny trace of sulfur rose from himself but was mostly covered by a cinnamon cologne. He sniffed appreciatively and smiled to himself. And that sniff saved him from running into Helios. The man's scent was minimal, and he gave off no heat.
'Not just an immortal a man then... a vampire? Hmm, this party is getting very interesting indeed,' he thought to himself.

Silas couldn't keep his heartbeat steady, his hands from shaking or even regain enough control to breathe properly. Instead, he rammed into someone, who hit someone else and a trend continued. Then began the questions.
"Ouch! Who hit me?" "Who is touching me?" "If you want to keep your hand you'll move it, won't you?"
And the complaints.
"OW! It was an accident!" "No, it wasn't perv!" "I'm not here for an orgy, so a lot of you are going to need to start showing more class."
Silas steadied himself and backed away until he came to a locked door. He unlocked it and slipped inside. The weapons room. Wasn't it concealed? It should have looked like a closet, but cabinets were open and the arsenal was there for anyone to see. What the hell was going on?
--
While a few people muttered about a need for more alternative energy sources while they looked for candles or flashlights and supported ideas of playing twenty-questions, the majority of people were either bolting their doors shut and calling to maintenance- who had no idea what was going on or how to fix it- or storming the halls to go complaint in person. Bless them.
However, they gave up that idea when they realized the only way to do that was by using their cell phones to call the number that couldn't handle any more calls, or had to storm down the stairs to the sub-basement. That made quite a few people change their minds.
No one noticed Nove, who managed to squirm past them in the dark and was enjoying the fact that no one recognized him. He fled out onto the fire escape and looked down at the street. His murderers had disappeared into the other building, but they were overly cautious. Worrying about security cameras and witnesses.
There was no time for such trepidation, and Nove could not cut the lights from across the street. He shouldn't have needed to, one of the assassins was a computer nerd who designed these exact security systems! The young model jumped over the railing, and plummeted towards the street. His feet met the twisted ladder and he was lowered to the ground. When he stepped off the ladder, he didn't bother with fixing it back to the way it had been.
Already he'd used his unique skills more than he would have liked to and was getting tired. He arrived at the second building and noticed the lack of a security guard, and the doorman was a member of the cub, who stared at him curiously.
"Status?" Nove questioned, sounding more curious than angry.
"They're all upstairs... the target is in the elevator," the fake doorman replied, consulting a hand-held TV.

Helios followed after Nove silently, gliding past the guard like a shadow. The fire escape trick was careless, and he could tell his target was getting tired. Nove liked to think of himself as clever, but everything he did now was stupid. The urge to grab him and tell him to go home was strong- but that was the thought of a responsible human. The demon within him knew a murder was going to take place and the idea that Nove would actually commit the crime himself was tantalizing. There had been fifteen or more murders so far, the police were running around down false leads and red tape and political nonsense, and Nove had never been this stupid.
He'd kept the crimes random and far away, so attacking someone he personally hated right next door to where he lived? The anniversary of his mother's death must have been getting to him, fueling a bloodlust he could not control.
Maybe he was salvageable after all.

Rave stopped suddenly when he saw a figure run from the room and through a hidden door, rather panicked. He grinned as he recognized Silas' scent, and delighted in the appearance of a secret room. He slipped around the table, rested his hand on the door. Then, with a quick push and pull, he let himself in and closes the door behind him in the blink of an eye.
Silas was so strung up he didn't even notice. He just marched around the room, hitting switched and turning a murder-room into a closet. Rave smiled sinisterly.
His hands slowly began to change. Scales sprouted up along his arms, pulling the material of his shirt and jacket tight, and claws sprouted from his fingertips. He put his back up against the wall, then slowly, quietly, climbed up and onto the ceiling. Then, using his telekinetic powers, he lowered himself just above Silas, until he was right next to the man's head. When their eyes met, Rave dropped right in front of him and pushes the man against a nearby wall, lifting him about six inches off the ground.
"Silas, Silas." He sighed, "Silas with the tarnished soul. Do you have a family Silas? Wife? A husband? Kids? Dog? Hmm? Anyone looking forward to seeing you after you get done making sure that nobody's going to mess up your pretty little bosses make-up?" He asked, the last bit referring of course to Nove. He leaned in close to Silas and breathed into the man's ear, a searing heat emanating from his mouth.
"Now. Dear, foolish soul. Tell me all about the secret evils the boy is enacting."

Nove stared at the dial which told what floor the elevator was on. It was rising slowly from five to six. The man's apartment was on the fourteenth floor. It was all too slow. The plan had required speed and his anger towards Helios and the shoeless Rave had made him too irritable to be patient. If the group had been seen leaving the party, they needed to be back before the murder and slipping back while the lights were off was the best opportunity.
Besides, this could not be the serial killer anymore. Not if there was suspicion. He figured he could get off on a murder charge or two- but not on a string of deaths that had the city running scared. No... This would not work. Not tonight.
"Call them down, tell them to use the stairs and not touch anything," he instructed.
"Why?" the doorman questioned, flipping open a cell phone. He would question the order, but hell if he wasn't going to obey it regardless.
Nove stood at the doors to the elevator. There was a horrible twist in his stomach that he definitely did not like.
"Please tell them to be as careful as they can," he chimed with a smile. "They were spotted leaving the party, so they need to get back to it as quickly as possible."
"...Are we giving up?" asked the guard, sounding angry.
Nove's smile faded. Giving up would be a sign of weakness and he was a leader. "No... I'll handle it, but we're be running short on time tonight."
The doorman called the others and snapped at them when they tried to whine. The young model stared at the doors... metal doors, with metal cables...
-
Wide-eyed Silas managed to hold off all speech, though his fear of death overruled his loyalty.
"He's the serial killer," he gasped. The cathartic rush that met him upon telling the truth was overwhelming. It was nostalgic in a way, and he found the version of himself from five years ago emerge. The person who had come to work for a teenager and had faith in the world. The person who had not loved fame more than faith. The person who assumed he was cooperating with another orphan, not with a monster. The person who had no idea how he had gotten to this moment.
"People love him," he continued as if to define and excuse everything that had happened by way of explanation. "All kinds of people in all kinds of ways. One got obsessed. Kidnapped him. Tried to kill him. Something about destroying something beautiful. People tell Nove everything, so he learned who had the heart of a killer and he found a purpose for those people."

Rave heard the man out, then looked to the side with a regretful kind of sigh.
"Oh what a shame, what a shame," he whispered. Inside, his thoughts were going miles a minute. So the pretty one was broken. Then worse, he was bored and decided he wanted to kill some people? For... what? Rave knew the cliche of comedians who told jokes and wanted people to laugh until it hurt because they wanted to hurt people. Because they themselves hurt so much.
But that was far from murder, and a sign of mental degradation. As was covering it up.
Rave returned his gaze to Silas, and smiled a smile that was not a smile at all. Not even the Devil could produce an expression so chilling.
"Feels good to tell the truth?" he asked, loosening his grip just enough that the man could nod. "You should have done it earlier. And you never answered my first question. It's rude to ignore somebody's question like that."
Before Silas even had a chance to respond, Rave's hand, back to scales and claws, punched into the poor lackey's chest and kept going past ribcage and lungs. His mouth opened, but the noise that came from it was strangled and useless.
"Goodbye poor, tainted Silas. May the gods have mercy on the blackness of your soul."
---
Ten minutes later Rave was back with his group of social smokers standing at the window, pulling out another thin, brown, cigar.

Nove opened the elevator doors and sighed tiredly. They were very thick and none of them looked ready to just fall off. He was annoyed at having to use his abilities so much already, but it could not be helped. Focusing on the cables, he worked quickly to fray them and warp the emergency brakes so the would not engage. His nose started to bleed, but he imagined that fat moron and let his building anger flow out into the cables until they suddenly snapped and the elevator began to fall and the brakes screamed in horror.
He felt lightheaded, but had the remaining wit to know he needed to get out of there. Fast.

A man dressed in dark walked alone the empty blackened streets. His hands shoved into the pockets of his leather coat, a long black wooden cane propped under the crook of his left arm. Even at this hour, he wore sunglasses his face a mask of expressionlessness. As he walked along his lonely path, he had noticed the group of people cross the street into another building with the grins and restrained excitement of people up to something sinister. At first, he paid it no mind; thinking that it was the usual group of pranksters or drunken "royalty" of the city.
Then he'd spotted a member of that royalty, walking with purpose- and caution. And, the man noticed, the prince was followed by one who ghosted across the street in a way that made him pause for a second. But again, he decided to pay it no mind.
After a few minutes though, he couldn’t seem to stop thinking about it. His mind still trying to process it like something wasn’t right...
Just then for some reason, his hands clenched the insides of his pockets and his brow twitched. Bloodlust...death....the usual sensations of combat. Although he wasn’t sure if it was his mind playing tricks on him or maybe something was happening, he decided to walk back to the building where the strangers had entered.
He stood in front of it for a short time, but everything was still. The prince was standing at the elevator shaft, watched by a shadow.
before finally deciding to just have a look see.
The man moved quickly and purposefully through the back ally to where the first group of strangers had entered the building and stepped inside. He stood at the bottom of a staircase as the first group of people in clothes were making there way back down. He stood directly in front of the stairs his face not changing and his posture still the same as it was before.

Helios left when he saw what Nove was doing. 'Baby steps,' he told himself- though truthfully he was tired of people with dark minds and no intention of getting their hands dirty. Death by elevator? It wasn't even cute.
He noticed a man in the street, but his attention was drawn away and he felt no desire to stick around just to watch a piece of machinery slam into the floor. He sensed something about the man that was slightly off but was more interested in the smell of blood than anything else. With his preternatural speed he was upstairs in an instant and quickly found the source of the smell. Silas' body was still bleeding slightly, the blood coagulating around a large hole in his torso. He was genuinely shocked when he heard a faint thump come from the butler's chest.
Helios glanced around furtively for a moment and saw the shoeless man from earlier entertaining a group of people. He laughed mentally and whisked the body away in the blink of an eye. Now he was on the roof, Silas' almost dead body in his arms. His desire to let the mortals play for him resurfaced and he turned Rion's head to the side, exposing his pale bloodless neck.
Without delay he bared his fangs and bit the human's neck with gusto, feeling a feeble spurt of blood hit his throat. It was with great displeasure that he restrained his bloodlust and pulled back looking at the twin punctures that were his calling card. He could already see the effects it was having on Silas, the veins suddenly becoming visible through skin that was becoming close to translucent.
"Come little Silas, play this Game of the Night with me." he murmured into the ear of what was currently neither human nor vampire. His target's butler had not earned the right to be an immortal, but he was the favorite of Helios' favorite and thus an amusing trinket for the time being.

The group descending the stairs only faintly noticed the newcomer. One looked at him but was more distracted with whining about how there not being a murder that night.
"What?" he questioned snottily when he realized the man was not moving out of the way.
--
Nove couldn't gather the strength to mess with the fire escape, but the lights were still off so he simply entered in through the lobby.
He shut his eyes, but it took a few attempts before the breakers flipped over and the lights turned back on. The effort was worth it for the ability to take the elevator back up instead of the stairs. Though, now that murder had become 'tragic accident' he didn't truly feel like entertaining at his alibi any longer. He'd have to go the lazy route and sit on the couch with the 'storyteller' group. Silas could deal with the actual entertaining.
--
Silas found himself feeling quite odd. He had been so terrified and yet now... there was no fear. He stared up at Helios, amazed with the creature, and nodded as he climbed to his feet. Oddly, his first thought was,
"I'll add you to the guest list."
