This is for the Anything You Want rp. I thought it looked really cool, and nobody else had done anything quite yet, so, here's my contribution!
Name: Frank Graves
Age: 27
Species: Human
Description: Frank stands right at six foot tall, is broad shouldered, and is covered in tattoos. His brown hair is trained in towards the middle of his head and spikes up slightly in the front (google Jensen Ackles for visual aide). He has hard, green eyes that seem to pierce through ones being and a rugged countenance that some might consider handsome if he didn't always have a frown on his face. His skin has a tan gotten from being outside more often than not, and has a smattering of tattoos, some of which are gang related.
Clothing: Usually wears military surplus or tactical clothes, mainly because they're sturdy and last longer in the environments he tends to find himself in. Light weight combat boots, long pants, riggers belt and either a combat shirt or a t-shirt. He also wears a black diesel military cap and a pair of O.D. green hard knuckle gloves
Weapons: Frank carries two weapons. One, a model 1911 style .45 caliber handgun that he keeps in a leather M7 style holster on his chest, and a large broken-back seaxe knife that he keeps strapped to his back (on the same harness as his handgun) with the hilt being just above the small of his back.
Personality: Frank is a very earnest person, devoting all of his time and attention to whatever it is he's doing at the moment. He doesn't have many people he would consider friends, but those he does have are very dear to him. He's very loyal and prizes honor above all else. While he does like to have fun, he'd rather have a nice drink and a good book than hang out in clubs.
That being said, he loves a good adventure. Frank and Itzel have taken missions all over the globe in an effort to visit as many places as possible. He’s a firm believer in being prepared for such ventures as well, and always has his backpack full of different things he might need.
He also enjoys sushi and frequents a quiet little coffee shop (one that serves actual coffee, not that crappamochalattecino stuff)/ bar that plays Jazz and Blues on Saturday nights.
History: Franklin Theodore Graves was not the best of students. In fact, he was on the lower end of his classes GPA. For one reason or another though, he was chosen to go through the rigorous schooling that would allow him to become something greater than what he already was... ish. Frank did just enough to get by. He didn’t impress anyone. He more than likely irritated quite a few of his teachers, as well as his students, but he didn’t care. He was skating through and doing what he wanted, which wasn’t a whole lot of anything. Somehow he made it through all the quizzes, reports, exams and physical exercises. Somehow he was allowed to take part in the entrance exam. Somehow, Frank Graves found a rock that changed his world.
The egg he found was in a remote part of a rain forest almost at the peak of some long forgotten pyramid. At the time, he had been parkouring around the ancient temple, much to the irritation of the rest of his group, when a rock fell from an overhang with no assistance what-so-ever and literally tripped Frank in mid-air. After finding what he tripped over (he almost kicked it over the ledge) Frank felt an instant connection to the stone. He knew he’d found his egg.
Frank took excellent care of his soon to be partner. He brought it with him wherever he went, whether the supermarket, the library, school, the beach, even the movie theater! He played lots of music, and was so excited when he first felt a mental nudge in response to an old jazz piece that he learned how to play the piano and the saxophone just so he could play for it himself! Soon, the egg took on a rainbow hue and pulsed with warmth. It grew until it could fit in his backpack with the rest of his books anymore and he had to make a sling specifically for it. Things were looking good.
However, Frank did not keep up with his classes very well. When it came time to showcase his skills, the instructors were impressed with the care and loving he’d put into the egg. But when they told Frank that they may have to take it because of his grades, it broke his heart. They told him they’d need to discuss it, and that he had a day or two left. He couldn’t let them take the egg, this thing he’d cared so much for. So he ran away. His plan was to go off to the temple he’d first found it at, hatch it, and raise it there. It’d take him a long time to get there, but he had a little cash put away, and he knew how to survive. He would not let them take away what he worked so hard for.
He found some people that would help him hide if he did some work for them. Some of it was delivering messages, some of it was petty theft. Most of it was intimidation and "reprimands". He didn't like it, but it kept them hidden for almost 8 months. He even helped to take down another gangs prostitution ring, which the gang leader decided was enough to pay off his debt. They made plans to get him where he needed to go, and sent him on his way. Unfortunately, he literally stumbled headlong into the lead investigator at the air station.
He was taken back to his hometown and the egg was removed from his care. Two nights later he attempted to hang himself. He was almost gone when they found him, but they were able to resuscitate him. They took his shoe laces and sheets, gave him shorts and a thin t-shirt. Another three days passed and he attempted to slit his wrists with a sharp stone he found. He was again found, and moved this time to the hospital where he was strapped down while he awaited charges.
Another few days went by when someone finally came and talked to him. She was pretty, older (at least to a 18 year old kid), and stern looking. She was very direct. She made him a deal. He would get one more chance. He would repeat his last year of high school. He would still care for the egg, but it would remain in her offices. He would be accompanied from home, to school, to the office and back home every day. And if he passed, they would think about letting him have the egg back.
Frank never worked harder. That year he brought his grades up and turned his academic career around. Even with the amazing work he did, because of his past records it still almost wasn’t enough. But when graduation time came around this time, he was passed. The lady that had seen him at the hospital, whose office he had visited so many times, handed him the egg herself as well as a strange looking knife that he still carries today with only the promise of “You’ll need it”. Miss Marianne Goldfield handles many of the global assignments handed out to the students at the university that Frank now goes to, and she makes sure that Frank is still challenged.
Frank still has a ways to go, but he’s on a better track now than what he was. A few months after he started university, Itzel hatched. Frank never asked about the strange scarring around her neck. He just held her and cared for her.
Abilities: Frank is very athletic, and keeps in shape by practicing Russian Systema as well as parkour. He's a very good shot with his pistol and can defend himself fairly well with his knife as well. He's an avid scuba diver and rock climber, and has a set of "claws" that he uses to assist himself when climbing trees or rock faces. He is also a decent cook, and a pretty good Jazz and Blues musician.
Weakness: Due to his history, Frank doesn’t like to be separated from Itzel for very long. If they are forcibly separated he has a tendency to get violent. He also abhors the entitled attitude that he sees in a lot of people, and tends to keep to himself because of this.

Description: A serpentine dragon with no arms or legs, only wings, and covered in rainbow colored feathers. Clawed hands extend from the wrist joint, allowing her to crawl around the ground and even onto the walls and ceilings. Her long jaws have an incredible crushing power and her sharp teeth indicate a mostly carnivorous diet, however she has a soft spot for some fruits. Her eyes are reptilian and have a vibrant green iris. From snout to tail she's about fifteen feet long.
Clothing: She has a small purple scarf that she likes to wear.
Weapons: While her bite is particularly vicious, she can also constrict and crush her prey to death.
Personality: Itzel, or "Itzy" as Frank likes to call her, acts more like a large, lovable cat than she does a dragon. She can be shy around new people if she's not in her own territory, but she's not timid enough that she'll run off immediately. She likes to sniff people out before she relaxes around them, but once you're in her good graces, you can expect to be used as a jungle gym. She enjoys following Frank around campus either in the air, where she can keep an eye on things below, or coiled around Frank himself. While in classes, she tends to prefer napping while wrapped around his feet. Sometimes she'll go off to explore, but she still likes to keep to herself. She's still fairly social however, and does enjoy playing with other people and their partners when the mood hits her.
On missions she's very observant. She flies above Frank just like at home, only this time it's to keep an eye out for danger, or to warn him about obstacles in the path ahead. Though usually a curious soul, she can be vicious when she needs to, and generally knows when to be cautious.

She grew quickly though, and was soon as long as Frank was tall! Now she's almost three times that length and is continuing to grow. She's been on multiple missions with Frank, mostly exploration or search and rescue, although there were a couple of forays into war-torn areas, and as such she has seen battle before.
Powers: Her main power is the ability to breathe fire. Huge gouts of almost liquid flame that seem to burn or melt through just about anything given enough time. Her secondary power, however, is known only by Frank. To those she trusts, she is able to communicate telepathically using a mixture of empathetic feelings and colors. This link has a range of about two miles before it begins to fade.
Abilities: She can fly at incredible speeds and is amazingly agile. By folding her wings tight to her body, she can even swim underwater very quickly by undulating like an eel. She can carry one full-grown adult plus some gear by lifting them with her jaws and flying, but not for very far.
Weakness: Itzel is still young, and depends on Frank a lot for many of her needs. Because of this she constantly strives to show Frank that she can be useful to him, sometimes putting herself in danger in the process. And while she can defend herself, she is not a fighter at heart.
Also, I wasn't sure where to put it, but Frank is a romanceable character if you decide to go that route. That being said, it's not a requirement to doing the rp with him.
I know it's pretty choppy to read, but I figured it's not supposed to be super detailed anyway. If there is something you'd like clarification on, or something doesn't make a whole lot of sense, let me know and I'll either edit it so it does or try to explain it.
